Liposomes - their characterization, preparation and embedding into nanofibers

Publication at Second Faculty of Medicine |
2014

Abstract

Liposomes are sealed vesicles composed of lipid bilayers, suitable for drug delivery. Main purpose of this paper is a review on liposomes, their properties, characterization and preparation.

In addition, a possibility of embedding liposomes into nanofibers is discussed. This drug delivery system has a promising potential for future applications in the field of regenerative medicine.
