Quality of life of seniors - the evaluation of the quality of life by the questionnaires WHOQOL- OLD and OPQOL-35

Abstract
The aging process is characterized by specific changes in all domains of life, which can affect the quality of life of an aging person. The aim of the study was to explore by the questionnaires WHOQOL-OLD and OPQOL-35, how elderly people perceive the quality of life and which idea do they have about it and how they evaluate their quality of life.
Other objectives were to translate and verify the Czech version of the questionnaire OPQOL-35 and by this to expand possibilities of evaluation of the quality of life of seniors.
