Abstract
Acute illness is important for senior and often life-threatening condition. For seniors in acute condition is critical, timely and accurate diagnosis of the underlying disease, accurate assessment of health and functional status, including comorbidities, thoughtful performance indicators for a particular patient, the maximum possible stabilization of the patient, intensive care with early rehabilitation and consistent prevention of immobilization syndrome.
Range of nursing care in the ICU is individual and influenced the diagnosis and of the elderly, as well as develops a medical condition develops constantly its needs and demands on nursing care. We look at each patient individually and holistically, we expect all their physiological, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
