Abstract
Due to the risk of simultaneous occurrence of medullary thyroid carcinoma in patients with Hirschsprung's disease ( 5-11 % ), especially in aganglionosis entire colon ( 35 % ) at our department in collaboration with endocrinological institute conducted a systematic screening of all patients for the presence of RET proto-oncogene.
