Authors describe two cases of isolated genital lymphoedema in young men as an extraintestinal manifestation of a non-specific inflammatory bowel disease. The first patient was treated for ulcerative colitis before manifestattion of lymphoedema, the second presented with lymphoedema as the first manifestation of Crohn's disease.
The gastrointestinal disease should be always considered in differential diagnosis of the idiopathic genital lymphoedema in young adults.
