Abstract
The paper focuses on (imposed) revisions of literary manuscripts befor the edition with respect to the ethical postulates of that age. It focuses on revisions in manuscript and editions also, both in official edition and samizdat and it explanes it by way of the example Škvorecký's novel Zbabělci and Vaculík's literary diary Český snář.
