Abstract
The paper describes reflections on primary public education as reported by plurilingual families living in the Czech Republic. The data derive from a qualitative study on intergenerational language transmission.
The paper is based on the assumption that the family's position is decisive in processing different agendas directed at multilingual acquisition.
