Abstract

This article closes the series of review articles Current practices in obstetric anaesthesia. The main objective of this part is to emphasize the fundamental importance of adequate analgesia, early mobilization and early oral intake for patients undergoing caesarean section as an important element to reduce the overall postoperative morbidity.
