Jiri Vitek, MD., Managed in their professional lives practically everything that was possible. Within its field contributed to the change globally respected medical procedures, such as neuroradiology devised and bestowed the name of the catheter, which survives only his, but I believe that his pupils.
Its collegiality, tearing down borders between medical disciplines and has been the pattern for cardiologists and radiologists sváruchtivým. As a free man allowed the luxury to be extremely demanding, critical and at the same time to call a spade a spade.
All this has become not only one of the most famous Czech doctors of his time, but also an inspiring figure to which you can not forget. Jiri Vitek will miss him.
