Abstract
Arterial hypertension is the most common cardiovascular disease and also the risk factor for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases (CVD), for hemorhagical stroke, heart and kidney failure etc. Arterial hypertension is not only high systolic and/or diastolic blood pressure, but high blood pressure is often presented together with other risk factors and/or diseases, e.g. with dyslipidemia, glucose metabolism impairment, obesity or overweight etc.The up to date trend in arterial hypertension treatment represents a fixed combination of suitable antihypertensive drugs, which brings good compliance to the antihypertensive therapy and then effective hypertension treatment and prevention of all complications.
