Abstrakt
The paper deals with the activites of the Centre for Theology and Arts (CTU) at the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague (KTF UK). For the seven years, the Centre has prepared many diverse events, designed to a dialogue between modern (secular) art and theology.
Conferences, lectures and debates have been held with foreign and Czech specialists, editions of the professional or artistic texts have been issued, but also practical 'artistic interventions' have taken place, first of all in the Academic Parish///Church of Prague, The Holy Saviour opposite the Charles Bridge. The text presents the Centre's history and its members, the theoretical background of its projects, cooperation with foreign institutions, e. g. the Art Museum of the Archdiocese of Cologne 'Kolumba'.
The article is based on the three-monthly intership I passed at the Centre within the LLP Erasmus scholarship in 2011/2012.
