Abstract
The aim of this paper is to specify the syntactic and morphological behaviour of the Hittite participles in comparison to Hittite canonical ("regular") adjectives. A conclusion is made about teh justification of equating them with verbal adjectives and its consequences for, e.g., voice alternations.
