Abstrakt
The article describes the basic prosodic means of the Czech language and compares them with the corresponding elements of the Rusian phonological system. Attention is paid to rhythm and intonation, the comparison results are analyzed in terms of teaching Russian as a foreign language to Czech native speakers.
The article emphasizes the importance of prosodic means in the realization of communication, which is, unfortunately, not always ref ected in teaching pronunciation to pupils in schools and students in universities.
