Abstract
Article reminds farmer Josef Dlask from Dolánky u Turnova, who spent the greater part of his life in the first half of the 19th century. A brief vignette of his life is connected with the anniversary of 230 years since his birth.
Furthermore, the authors suggest possible interpretations of this personality using modern methods (historical anthropology, sociology etc.). This is not a comprehensive study, but to outline a topic that could be explored in depth.
