Abstract
The presented study evaluated which laboratory tests and graphic methods were used during the entrance examination of patients with chronic kidney disease and whether these tests had an effect on diagnosis or therapeutic management. Automated use of batery of several tests for diagnosign and treatement of chronic kidney disease could be excessive.
Approach based on evidence would probably be more effective and overall costs could be reduced.
