Abstract
The volume aims to contribute to the discussion on theoretical, methodological and ethical issues of the process of evaluation and values, by asking a range of questions and analysing various themes connected with values. These topics and the modes of approaching them pertain to a number of disciplines, such as philosophy, history, sociology and anthropology, giving the volume a distinctive inter-disciplinary quality.
