Czech emigration to Volhynia in the Chronicles of Volhynian villages

Abstract

This article is aimed at migration flows from Czech country to tsarist Russia in 1867-1890. The Czechs settled primarily in areas of Caucasus and Volhynia.

The were leaving to mentioned areas from 1878, but the emigration to tsarist Russia was already marginal in 1890. By term Volhynian Czechs we called mainly Czech minority living primarily by agricultural way of life in are of former Volhynian area by the town Luck-Rivne-Žitomir.

We would aimed at the eimigration of Czechs to Volhynian area in this article and we will do critique of emigration causes.
