Abstract

Antonín Dvořák achieved great success during his life - except the honorary membership in many musical institution, he obtained the Doctor honoris causa degree from Prague Charles University and English Cambridge University. The composer also received the Medal of Iron Crown and Literis et Artibus decoration from the emperor Franz Joseph I.
