Abstrakt
I introduced my dissertation project with its working title Die Wochenschrift Selbstwehr (1907-1938) in deutsch-tschechischer kulturellen Kontext (The Weekly Paper Selbstwehr /Self-Defence, 1907-1938/ in the German-Czech Cultural Context) in a forty minutes long lecture. Firstly, I introduced it in three steps in general: An introduction of the Selbstwehr; My approach and the points of interest; A preliminary structure of the thesis.
After that I introduced the database that helps me to organize the materials and finally, I made some suggestions on how to deal with the gap between the research questions and intentions on one hand and the database outputs on the other hand.
