Abstrakt
Results of systematic field survey conducted in the Sherabad District in South Uzbekistan during 2010 and 2011 are presented in the poster. Topographic maps and satellite imageries were used to identify ancient settlements in the terrain.
New methodology was developed for the area of South Uzbekistan, regarding field survey, test pits and total pickups. ArcGIS was used as main tool for map and satellite imagery processing and creation of maps.
