Abstract
Literature speaks about one of the most significant archetypes in connection with family life in the countryside - and it is land. The land and the connection with the land have been the very value for the families, especially peasant families, for very long time.
Therefore intergenerational transmission of values has been set up as one of the main research theme. Questions to be answered are in which living areas parents place great emphasis on intergenerational transmission, what kind of knowledge do they pass on their children in the process of socialization.
