Dynamics of everyday life in dialogue with E. Levinas

Abstract

This text presents the project of my Ph.D. thesis, which concentrates on the dynamics of our day to day life. Its main aim is to see the dynamics as a tension between the subject and either the other man or the world, both representing the otherness.

Everyday life cannot be hence considered as routine since the most important movement finds its place within, the movement to the Other and back to oneself, a movement that constitutes the subject as such.
