War Trauma on Canvas. Artistic Reminiscence of the Czech and German Artists spent on World War I and II in the first half of the 20th century

Abstract

This paper will discuss various ways of production, which Czech and German artists cope with the trauma in the first half of the 20th century they experienced during both world wars in their works. Greater attention will be paid to the so-called series Nocturnal pedestrians, who appeared in the work of Czech artists, especially during the so-called Heydrichiad.
