Abstract
The conference contribution dealt with the linguistic picture of women and men in the dictionary exemplification. On linguistic picture of women in different languages and / or different types of texts focused among others theses by A.
Christou, E. Mikulková, G.
Donovová and M. Štumpf. On the background of these works were considered examples of manuscript of Academic Dictionary of Contemporary Czech, that is created in the Institute of Czech Language from 2012.
The dictionary exemplification should be typical, but it does not mean that the examples cited are colorless, turn provide interesting testimony of thinking, perception and behavior in relation to gender.
