Abstract
Report from a workshop about symmetrical approach in anthropology and archaeology organized by Wert und Äquivalent working group from Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main which took place near Mainz in June 2015. Besides of description of the event, the article treats challenges connected to application of symmetrical perspective in anthropology and archaeology - in field research and in context of mainstream research culture of the disciplines.
