In the second half of the 19th century Czech brewing industry went trought a period of essential technical and technological changes. Their implementation was not always easy, and sometimes even hinted at the resistance.
The early 20th century was a period when most of the news were finally applied and tested in practice. The paper notes not only the overall development of brewing in this period, but mainly focuses on the successful introduction and use of new equipment in practice or their refusal and finding the new ways.
