The "Religionsstörung" (religion interfering) crime in Bohemia in the first half of 19th century on the basis of investigation records of Court of Appeal in Prague

Abstract

The investigation files of "religion interfering" crime at Prague Court of Appeal give us insight at development of investigation of this crime in the first half of 19th century at the level of not only Court of Appeal, but also at the level of criminal courts. The study aims to improve knowledge about the process of "modernization" of Bohemian society during the beginning of industrialization of the country.

The files cover years 1808-1849 and contain 88 separate cases.
