Abstract

Timeless pedagogical aspects in the work of Johann Valentin Andreae. (Article) - Paper discusses Andreae's thoughts, which significantly aheaded their time. Currently his work enjoys partial rehabilitation through the initiative of the German educators, who are looking for possible inspiration in contemporary teaching and learning.

Generally, however his pedagogical ideas are not often discussed, so this article is at least one way of looking at his pedagogy. As regards of education, Andreae wanted to overcome the anthropopesimism, which instead of opening the human being in the world, puts just obstacles.

His pedagogy appeals to the involvement of practicality in teaching and he can also be considered as a forerunner of inductive experimental teaching and the pedagogical method of the experiment - a mistake teaching.
