Abstract

This contribution presents a results of pilot experiment which was conducted in cooperation with students of the Insitute of Information Studies and Librarianship, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. We were exploring information behaviour of four respondents aged between 25-35 years using a variety of research methods to identify why young people do not use the library. dissertation topic Perception of public libraries in society, with focus on the target group of nonusers aged approximately between 25 and 35 years.
