Abstract
The big data are currently applying almost in all sectors of human activities. These data are characterized by an extremely large volumes of data, an extremely high velocity of data and extremely wide variety of data.
Large data files belonging to this category are hiding also in libraries. Where exactly can the big data be found in libraries and what way could their analyzes be beneficial for the development of science and research? The following post seek to answer these questions.
