Abstract
The talk deals with the various combinations of expression "proto" with conjunctions expressing cause, the special emphasis is put on "proto, protože" construction. These constructions are discussed from the perspective of grammar (in which contexts they can be used etc.) and of the attitudes to language (that is how these constructions are perceived by linguists and ordinary speakers).
The talk concerns the topic of language culture and connected phenomena.
