Abstract
The article briefly presents the Certified Examination in Czech for Foreigners (CCE), developed by the Institute of Language and Technical Preparation at Charles University. The CCE is currently the only representative of the Czech Republic and as such also the only representative of the Czech language in the international The Association of Language Testers in Europe organization (ALTE).
The article introduces the form of the CCE -exam at Reference Levels B1 and B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and further it concentrates on preparation of students for the CCE-exam.
