Abstract

Homeless censuses are an indispensable part of homelessness prevention and management. To this end, some states use integrated social services client databases, while others rely on field counts.

This article presents a proposal for a national point-in-time homeless count for the Czech Republic. It sets out from an analysis of examples of best practices in other countries and counts that have been carried out in several Czech towns.
