Abstract
The paper was a brief presentation of the results of my master thesis, the problems I encountered writing it, and the conclusions I made. I dealt with phraseology in general, and subsequently made various analyses and comparisons based on a broad corpus of Portuguese idioms containing the names of animals.
Finally, I looked into the matter of transformational restrictions of verbal idioms.
