Abstract
The aim of the lecture is to investigate the relation between the state of exception, normal situation and law in the political and legal philosophy of Carl Schmitt. In this context, I pay special attention to the concepts of sovereignty, decision, political unity, constitution and law in general and also present the distinction between commissarial and sovereign dictatorship.
