Law crossing Eurasia: From Korea to the Czech Republic

Publication at Faculty of Law |
2015

Abstract

The monograph was published as a result of international cooperation based on common research project of Charles University, Faculty of Law, and Hankunk University of Foreign Studies in Seul, Korea. Academic jurists began their research in important branches of law useful for Korean - EU - Czech cooperation.

The monograph serves as an analysis of the main factors having and impact on Czech - Korean cooperation. The empahasis was placed on the internal development of thoughts at all stages, generating outcomes in all legal branches subject to the analysis.

Another important outcome is that the role of the system of fundamental rights and freedoms is expanding; it is not only becoming a tool for the approximation of legal systems among individual EU Member States, but it is also creating the basis for mutual understanding between Czech and Korean Law.
