Abstrakt
Since the start of the economic crisis in Greece in 2009 a public debate has been revived concerning the Greek reparation claims against Germany related to the World War II. Greece belongs to those countries that suffered the most during the Axis occupation, although in the end from the view of reparation payments the government of Greece achieved to acquire the lowest compensation.
The reparations issue continues to resonate on the Greek political scene and in the society despite the fact that from the legal point of view it had already been closed. This publication analyzes the mutual Greek-German negotiations on reparations issue since the World War II till nowadays.
