Reflexive and Pre-Reflexive Accounts of Self-Consciousness : A Comparison and Confrontation

Abstract

The aim of the lecture is to confront the reflexive and pre-reflexive accounts of self-consciousness and to put forward a set of arguments in favor of the pre-reflexive concepts of self-consciousness.
