Abstract
Chapter focuses on the analysis of independence for Scotland in the context of independence referendum, which took place in September 2014. It examines the Scottish National Party as the main actor promoting independent Scotland and leader of the Yes campaign as well as NO campaign parties.
The attention is also paid to the main discussed topics, referendum results and to the post-referendum British-Scottish relations.
