Body Ethics and Politics. Trying to Read Levinas from Foucaultian Perspective

Abstract

Our aim in this article is to offer an ethical and political approach to human body and life of a human being, deriving from the common reading and interpreting the famous Foucaultʼs writing on biopolitics as well as the shift of the relationship between ethics, life, sensual perception and corporeality made by Levinas in the 1960s and 1970s.
