Effective management of dementia - combined pharmacotherapy and psychosocial intervention

Abstract

The authors present three case reports of patients with Alzheimer's disease who has been introduced combined therapy with inhibitors of the acetylcholinesterase and the memantine with the support of psychosocial interventions in order to improve the self-sufficiency and the quality of life of patients and permit them to continue the homecare.
