Abstract
According to many reflections, we have entered times of crisis. While some authors see it mostly in economic terms, others stresses its moral foundations.
This paper focuses on some of these interpretations in the Czech context and presents them as a reiteration of the influential debate between liberals and communitarians, which was triggered by the crisis of post-war capitalism in the 1970s.
