Abstract
This article examines decreases in agricultural land in Czechia after 1990. The results show dramatic reductions to agricultural lands throughout Czechia and, particularly, in and around Prague.
The article also presents an overview of appropriate data sources for studying land-use issues. The conclusion highlights causes and effects of the loss of agricultural lands and the associated potential risks to society and the environment.
