Abstract
As an important source of information, maps are useful in a number of school subjects beyond geography. This article seeks to familiarize biology teachers, in particular, with the importance of integrating maps into biology lessons.
It offers specific examples on how to develop pupils' map skills in conjunction with key concepts from biology.
