Abstract
Substituted derivatives of pyrazine and its isosters were investigated for use as DNA minor groove binders resulting in the increase in stability of the DNA duplex. It has been observed as the increase of DNA duplex melting point and can be used in methdos for quantification and identification of nucleic acids.
