Abstract
Contribution based on empirical research (and analysis) carried out with Ukrainian migrants working in Czechia. It takes a longitudinal approach using the diary method with 22 Ukrainian respondents from Prague.
This research focusing primarily on the analysis of financial transactions made by migrants (start of remittances, links between remittances and earnings and expenditure, the frequency and forms of transferral) It tests the possibility of using the diary method to research broader issues of international migration.
