Nasal nitric oxide in children with adenoid hypertrophy

Abstract

The prospective study aimed to evaluate adenoid hypertrophy (AH) for its possible influence on the test. Moreover, nNO was assessed after adenoidectomy.

Healthy children and adolescents (n=38) were enrolled together with their diseased peers (n = 105) who were referred to the outpatient department due to chronic symptoms suggestive of AH. Their age ranged between 5 and 18 years.
