Abstract
This conference brought together the members and co-operators of the national society of the Philosophy of Sport Section of the Czech Kinanthropological Society (PSS/CKS). The conference welcomed colleagues from philosophy of sport, but also from other sport-related areas of enquiry, seeking to advance knowledge and study of sport through our respective disciplines.
The main themes of the 4th Czech Philosophy of Sport Conference were the phenomenological approach to sport, the question of human embodiment, spirituality in sport and martial arts.
