Abstract
The paper presents a case report of a 58years old patient, who was admitted to a hospital due to one month lasting, progressive dyspnea and productive cough. A manifest respiratory insufficiency and severely limited pulmonary function were present on admission, X-ray subsequently supplemented with HRCT revealed a damage of pulmonary interstitium.
The patient was diagnosed with a subacute form of exogenous allergic alveollitis based on his history and clinical examinations. Following the initiation of corticosteroid treatment the clinical symptoms completely resolved, X-ray finding returned to norm and pulmonary functions significantly improved.
