Abstract

Although the community-acquired pneumonia belongs to a routine work of not only pneumologists, but also internists and general practitioners, its management is not always so easy. The complicated course of the illness is often seen in patients with chronic diseases, immunosuppression and other complicating factors.

However, this case report documents that even in a patient without complicating factors the course of the com munity-acquired pneumonia may be complicated and accompanied with atypical findings.
